Red Squirrel The UK's native Red Squirrel, hugely outnumbered by the alien Grey Squirrel due to the squirrel pox virus but can be found in a few areas around the country.

Bempton Cliffs A haven for seabirds on the North Yorkshire Coast including Cormorant, Razorbill and even Puffin.		The Farne Islands Situated off the Northumbrian Coastline the Farne Islands are a Mecca for seabirds including Puffin, Arctic Turns and Cormorant along with Seagulls and Seals.

Birds of Prey Here's my collection of various Birds of Prey from the Balk Eagle to the Vulture and wild local Northern Red Kites.		Kingfishers Follow this link to see my latest collection of the UK's most beautiful and elusive bird of prey. Now including a couple of non European varieties!

Nuthatch A very beautiful and small woodland bird resembling a Kingfisher or Woodpecker.		Peacocks & Pheasants My collection of Peacock and Pheasants that are commonly seen around the United Kingdom.

Oriental Mandarin Duck Introduced from China, the male Mandarin Duck has the most amazingly colourful plumage. A few can be found in the wild though they are extremely shy birds.		Blue Tit A handful of shots of these ever popular garden birds including Coal Tit and Great Tit varieties.

Grey Squirrel Commonly seen around Parks, Gardens and up Trees the Grey Squirrel is a common sighting stealing bird food and nuts.		White Albino Squirrel White albino squirrels are extremely rare, nearly 1 in 100,000 so I was very lucky to see this one let alone capture some shots of it!

Owls A few of my favourite Owl shots taken at Kirkleatham Owl Sanctuary and The Falconry Centre.		Great Spotted Woodpecker Occasionally seen clinging to tree trunks and on branches in mature woodland and parks. Follow this link for my latest shots.

Siskin A very large group of Siskin caught feeding on conifer seeds in the area of the Tees Barrage once more.		Grey Heron Here you can see a great selection of Grey Heron taken at the Tees Marsh Nature Reserve.

Ducks, Swans and Geese Here's a collection of pictures of the common Mallard Duck, Swans and Geese along with one or two other varieties.		Yellow Legged Gull A common sight at the River Tees Barrage is this Yellow Legged Gull.
