Goldcrest
(Regulus regulus)

The Goldcrest is the UK's smallest songbird and can be identified by it's distinct orange or yellow crown stripe. Found especially in coniferous woodland, forests, trees and bushes. Further information on the Goldcrest can be found at the RSPB Goldcrest page.
